The Grinnell High School Alumni Association is the sponsor of the race.  We would like to expand the race in future years to include more events and participation which can include more equipment for putting on the races.  We support classes of Grinnell High School from the past so they have a place to meet during the weekend of the After Harvest Festival at Grinnell the same weekend (same day) as the race.
