Description

Run Ranger Run began 7 years ago to highlight the difficult journey our combat veterans sometimes have transitioning home. This is an awareness event not only for the global Run Ranger Run event that takes place in February, but also for our local Kansas City Veteran Non-Profits.

We may not know them, but we owe them. For those who volunteered and were called to serve, we are thankful. Join us in connecting our local veteran subculture and welcoming them back into the community. Our charity-GallantFew provides a mentorship program that connects successfully transitioned vets with vets who are still going through the process.

Heartland4Heroes is encouraging our Kansas City community to share this information and spread the word for the GallantFew mission...we're here to engage in community action and make sure our veterans are connected and successful in their life post military service.

Come show your support November 4th and register to walk or run in the 5k, we will also have a kids relay! This will start following the 5K. Registration and Packet pick up will start at 2PM, 5K kicks off at 3PM, the freedom/veteran walk will be held post 5k. The 5k will be timed by Race Day Timing, DJ’s on the Go will be providing our sound and music, Wickliffe Photography will be capturing your race day experience.

Each participant will receive a bib, t-shirt, wristband and miscellaneous prizes. Our top female and male racers will receive a camping trip to Uncle Gabby’s Cabins and tickets to a Chiefs game. Please check in @Heartland4Heroes on Facebook for updates and more information.#thrivetogether
