Zombie Survival Dash 3k

Run for your LIFE as we kick off WALKER WEEKEND with a VERY creepy place!!! Come in your best ZOMBIE COSTUME to run, walk or to  be a “walker” , as we dash down Lakeshore drive and back to Burnside Elementary to make a full 3k.

Runners can dress in regular running clothes and Zombies can be dressed as such to "chase" runners. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DRESS AS A ZOMBIE OR KNOW SOMEONE THAT WANTS TO, THERE IS NO CHARGE TO PARTICAPATE IN THIS PART OF THE RACE, as you will be "Chasing" the runners.

There will be a BEST ZOMBIE COSTUME contest from 6:30-7:00.

The winners of the Zombie Costume Contest will lead the actual Zombie Walk Parade on the evening of October 13th in downtown Somerset. They will have the option to walk or ride in the back of a Don Franklin Family of Dealerships pick-up truck. The winners will also win some cool prizes and be introduced from the stage on October 13th. The is contest is open to ages 13 and up only. Those who enter the contest will be the zombies who 'hide' at various locations along the race route and attempt to 'chase' the runners as they go by.  (The children's contest will be at a different time and location.)  The zombies are not permitted to touch the runners and only have to 'chase' in short distances since we hope to have several of them along the route. 

Registration on-site is at 7:00

Race starts at 7:30

There will be a 1st,2nd and 3rd place winner.
