Presley’s Grace Race is a prime example of the greatest life message we want to continue to use to minister and help others. Presley was a breath of fresh air in the room; she was love, she was hope, she was GRACE. And though the time we were blessed here on earth with her- it may be “short” to us, there’s no question that Presley left such a huge print here on earth with everyone that met her. She was such a small girl with such a big mission. The best thing we could do would be to honor that boldness and love she carried with her.
The mission of this race is to honor Presley while also aiding in awareness of foundations. In doing so, these races will aid in helping fund other foundations (each race will fund a different foundation chosen by Dani to help another grieving parent/foundation in honor of a child loss). Although the race is free, donations and shirt sales will all go to the foundation chosen for each year. This race will aid in a special foundation that is near to her heart. It will aid another mom in her mission to help her son's legacy continue on.
This year the foundation is The Smilin’ Rylen Foundation. This foundation was founded by a dear friend that Dani met through her grieving blog. The Smilin’ Rylen Foundation is based out of Texas and supports many other foundations that were there with this family during their loss of Rylen. They support Organ Donation through Life Gift, Ronald McDonald House in Houston, Emma’s Hugs and Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.
