GPD Finest 5K - With GUTS!

Georgetown’s Finest 5K is not like any other 5K you have experienced.  The course is held on a real police obstacle course consisting of different obstacles.  When you register for the run, you will designate whether you wish to run/walk a 5K only, or whether you wish to complete the 5K with the obstacles.  Both groups will use the same course with those wishing only to run/walk simply skipping the obstacles. 

This year we are also incorporating a CROSSFIT CHALLENGE!  If you're looking for the ultimate challenge to include with your 5K with GUTS, this is it!  Simply click on the CROSSFIT CHALLENGE to add this option to your race.

The course is cross country and approximately one mile in length so each runner will complete three laps.  This event is NOT timed.  The 5K with GUTS! is not about speed.  It's about being able to complete the course.  

WARNING: runners wishing to complete the obstacles should be aware that the obstacles are both challenging and can be dangerous.  The course is physically much more difficult with the obstacles.
