SNDA Annual Oral Cancer Awareness 5K Run/Walk

Close to 53,000 Americans will be diagnosed with oral or oropharyngeal cancer this year. It will cause over 9,750 deaths, killing roughly 1 person per hour, 24 hours per day. This is a number which has not significantly improved in decades. Every phase of how a cancer develops is potentially an avenue to finding a new therapy for treatment. Donations to the Oral Cancer Research Foundation will go into the development of targeted therapies for various oral cancers.
