UKWC Scholarship Fun Run

The UK Woman's Club invites you to enjoy a fun run/walk raising funds for UK student scholarships at peaceful Wellington Park in Lexington, KY on Saturday, October 14. This no-pressure, untimed 3K will be over an easy paved trail among trees and meadows (you are encouraged to set a goal and time yourself). College is hard; raising money for scholarships should be fun and easy! Bring the kids (future UK students?) -- under 12 they are free, and we'll have entertainment like balloon animals, goodie bags for small children who finish the course with a registered adult, and they can meet Scratch, the UK mascot! No game on October 14, so show support for UK and the students by taking a walk or running at 10:30am, or donating to the UKWC Scholarship Fund.

T-shirt pickup, kids' entertainment, and on-site late registration from 9:30 to 10:30. Stretches led by a yoga instructor at 10:00am (bring your own mat). Donations to the UK Woman's Club Scholarship Aid Fund accepted on-site from 9:00am-1:00pm.
