Organizers of Powered With Pride are sad to announce the decision to cancel our (already once rescheduled) event this September. An event like ours is comprised of numerous moving parts, various supporting organizations, and necessary lead time(s) to ensure the delivery of a safe and successful event. With so much uncertainty for group events/gatherings of any size during the current pandemic, and community resources strained to some degree as such, PWP will now turn our attention towards a return in 2021.
For those who have already signed-up to participate in PWP this year, we can't express enough how much we appreciate you and your support! THANK YOU! You will soon receive additional information with as it pertains to your 2020 event registration and options regarding.
Above all, this is just a temporary delay until PWP Nation can once again meet safely to "RUN PROUD" side-by-side! Until then PWP Nation, be well...be safe!

UPDATE: Due to the unknown nature and timeline of the COVID-19 pandemic, POWERED WITH PRIDE has been moved from June to Wednesday, September 16th to ensure an event that's optimal for all!
POWERED WITH PRIDE is back…and ready to once again RUN PROUD for our 5th event anniversary this September 2020! Unwavering is our mission of bettering the lives of PWP Nation, and our greater community, with healthy social endeavors one “PROUD step at a time.” However, new in 2020…is nearly everything else!
Leading into the Louisville Pride Festival slate of festivities, PWP becomes a nighttime, ONE-MILE FUN RUN/WALK on Wednesday, September 16th at Play Louisville in Butchertown. We’ll host two heats on our flat-'n'-fast one-mile course, followed by a short, entertaining “drag run” featuring local drag entertainers and celebrities. We’ll cap the evening’s physical accomplishments with a post-race party open to participants and supporters of all ages inside Play!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
— 5:30pm: Packet pick-up
— 7pm: Heat 1—PWP Mile (competitive)
— 7:15pm: Heat 2—PWP Mile (non-competitive run/walk)
— 8pm: Drag Run (featuring drag entertainers and local celebrities)
— 8:30pm: Post-Race Party (featuring an early show at 9pm, and open for all ages until 10pm; Admission/one beverage for PWP participants)
REGISTER EARLY! In 2020, PWP will be CAPPING REGISTRATION to ensure an optimal event experience. We’re keeping costs for mass appeal and the following:
— Timed event/course
— Option to add an event t-shirt on to your registration
— Low $10 cost for kiddos 12 & under that includes a rainbow sweatband
— Post-race party at Play with included admission, show and beverage
— & MORE (to come)!!!
