Description

The Racism is Deadly 5k is a race against racism. As we all know 2020 has been a year of racial reckoning. The deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd catapulted our country into a whirlwind of protests, shootings, and general discourse. The racial an political tension can be felt in the grocery store, among families, and even in our online meetings. However, we are committed to opening the lines of communication between races to build trust and facilitate healing. On June 20, 2021 you are welcome to participate in our post race Run Down. During this Facebook Live conversation we will discuss the racial disparities in our education systems, healthcare, politics, and police reform and how we can address these problems together. Join the race!
