American Heritage Girls is a faith-based character development and leadership organization for girls ages 5 to 18. The program helps girls grow in faith, service, citizenship, life skills, confidence, and outdoor adventure through troop meetings, badge work, community service, and leadership opportunities. It is often seen as a Christ-centered alternative to traditional scouting programs, with a strong emphasis on family involvement, biblical values, and helping girls become women of integrity.
The 5k is our primary fundraiser and supplies our troop with the necessary funds for community service projects, equipment, materials, and events to further contribute to the Godly service of our local troop.
Funds to cover the costs of maintaining the level of service to our community, the different projects, and meetings we engage the girls in are only able with the support of sponsors like you!
Your sponsorship will be used to supplement equipment, materials, gifts to other ministry organizations, outings, registration fees for some families, etc. We would like
all interested families to be able to participate regardless of their financial situation. This will be our FIRST annual 5k, known as AHG'S GOBBLE WOBBLE 5k. This year and every
year forward, those who participate in our 5k will receive a T-shirt along with other merchandise. These shirts are worn by participants, parents, siblings, friends, as well as our GIRLS all over the Shreveport/Bossier area and reach even into East Texas. This year we are providing the opportunity to help support the troop and our girls through various levels of sponsorship.
DIAMOND Level $1000 – Your company/organization Logo size on the race shirt will be the largest size and name on Mile Markers.
PLATINUM Level $500 – Your company/organization LOGO will be displayed slightly larger than above level.
GOLD Level $250 – Your company/organization LOGO will be displayed slightly larger than above level.
SILVER Level $150 – We will add your company/organization LOGO displayed on the back of the tee (approximately 1 of the squares below).
All other donations $149 and below will get your company/organization name listed on our social media posts as a sponsor. ALL sponsors are also listed on the Race Website on RunSignup.com and will be mentioned on our facebook page throughout the remainder of the season.
The deadline for logo submittal is November 8th, 2026.
