Not Ya Mama's 5K Chili Run

This event is our yearly fundraiser for scholarships and ongoing renovations to our wellness park. Funds from past Spring Fling events have provided scholarships for many area students and we hope to continue to recognize as many graduates as possible. Our Wellness Park has seen several improvements resulting from the Spring Fling proceeds. We've completed restoration of a large portion of the park grounds and, thanks to the efforts of Representative Gadberry, we have received a grant that will facilitate further upgrades to the existing walking track by the end of 2024. The club has also initiated a cooperative effort with Calhoun Elementary to develop a designated portion of the park as an outdoor classroom. We are excited about the progress we're seeing in the Wellness Park. Every 5K participant helps us move one step closer to achieving the goal of providing better educational opportunities and a functional and inviting gathering space for our community.
