Homer Dixie Softball discussion began on October 10, 2023. The program began in 2024 where we have achieved some major awards! We had a total of 7 teams in the league: T-ball (male and female), 8U (2 teams), 10U (2 teams), 12U, and 15U. We are attempting to grow our funds in order to have dirt hauled in to our fields to level them. We currently only have one field that is safe to use between the 10U and 12U teams and we each practice three times a week. During our regular season, 10U (Diamond Divas) placed first in the Springhill Tournament. All-Stars: Nola 8U achieved the sportsmanship trophy, Nola 10U placed 1st, and Nola 12U automatically achieved 1st with no other teams in their division. State Tournament: Nola 10U placed 1st (STATE CHAMPS) and Nola 12U placed 2nd. Now, Nola 10U (TEAM: LOUISIANA) and Nola 12U are headed to the World Series in Monroe, La on the weekend of July 26, 2024.
