Support the ASHP Foundation by becoming a fundraiser! To easily become a fundraiser, simply set up a fundraising page on the race site by clicking on the "Become a Fundraiser" button below. You can customize your fundraising page, set a goal, and send emails to friends, family members, and colleagues to expand your reach and watch your fundraising dollars grow! Participants who customize their page and send out emails raise much more money than those who don’t.
After you register as a fundraiser, you also have the option of forming a team or joining a team. We are awarding prizes for the top individual and team fundraiser, so make sure you tell people in your social circles about the event and compete for the top prize. The tools on the website make this easy to do.
One of the changes we have made this year is that we have lowered the cost for students and residents. We know the the Midyear Clinical Meeting can be a financial burden on our students and residents so we wanted to show our support for them. Because of this we are asking participants to donate to the Foundation to help us subsidize the cost for students and residents. Your donation will allow us to keep the pricing discounted for students and residents and allows them the opportunity to participate in this fun and holistic event. We hope you will consider even a small donation to help us support our students and residents.
To Become a Fundraiser:
1) First register as an INDIVIDUAL Fundraiser
In order to do any sort of fundraising, you first must register as an Individual Fundraiser. Click “Become a Fundraiser” on the menu to the left. Please note, that you will also see a “Become a Fundraiser” button while registering for the race. Both follow the same process.
Next, Set up your Individual Fundraising Page. Enter your name, and fundraising goal, and create your personalized link. Use your name or something simple. If it tells you your link is taken, just add a number after it. Example: www.runsignup.com/chrissolano1. Add a picture and customize a personal message.
2) Next, scroll down to CREATE A FUNDRAISING TEAM, JOIN AN EXISTING TEAM OR, SIMPLY CLICK THROUGH TO DO IT ON YOUR OWN!

Join an Existing Team or Create a New Team
To “Join an Existing Team”, Click on the dropdown with the list of teams and select the team you wish to join. To “Create a Team”, Click the Create a Team button to activate the next step.
Create a Team Fundraiser
Fundraising is better with friends! Come up with a fun team name, enter your team fundraising goal, and personalize your team story. Once you create your fundraiser, you will be able to personalize it further (see Peer to Peer Tips for details on how!)
