Description
Starting November 1 through Thanksgiving, show your attitude of gratitude! Show your gratitude as a survivor or in honor of someone you are grateful to have now or in memory. Walk with friends socially distanced or virtually. Challenge a friend to match you, step for step!
During these unprecedented times, we have had to cancel or put on hold many of our fundraising activities such as our Spring Fling and Golf Tournament. We are hosting a Virtual/Run walk this year to raise money to continue to create our Survivor Baskets, offer our Tough Warrior Chats, and the variety of other supports we have in place to help women who have been affected by cancer. Our Survivor basket is filled with items one may need to get through diagnosis and treatments, items of inspiration, and information on resources available and have a value of over $350.00 for each basket.
The Tough Warrior Princesses (TWP) provide support, comfort, love and resources to women affected by cancer. We are a not for profit organization based in Amesbury, MA, and serve the north shore of Boston and Southern NH. We are made up of a 12 member board of volunteers and an army of others that help us to continue our mission-an an army of people like you!
Location: Run/Walk anywhere! Any distance- a walk around the block, down the street, whatever you can do! Or you can use our course maps for Amesbury (Riverwalk Trail-approx 2.7 miles), Newburyport (Rail Trail and through town-approx 3.1 miles), or Salisbury (Marsh View Trail-approx 2.6miles).
