What are donations used for? Westover Galaxy Community Council has been a 501(c)(3) in good standing since 1989. Our mission is to support the men, women, families and mission of Westover Air Reserve Base. But let's talk specifics. In 2025, we donated all Run the Runway & Car Show proceeds to support Westover families in need during the 6 week government shutdown. We regularly support events hosted by Westover MWR (morale, welfare & recreation). Work with Military Family Readiness to ensure families have their needs met - including back to school supplies, holiday gifts for military children.
