Description
Registration Fee is $25. $20 for participants under 18. $30 on race day.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION AVAILABLE STARTING AT 8:00AM SUNDAY OCTOBER 30.
The race will be run partially on a trail and partially on the road. The course starts at the trailhead of historic Deborah Sampson Park in Sharon. It exits the trail for a portion on the road, and then re-enters the trail for the finish.
Deborah Sampson, an American Revolutionary War hero, enrolled in The Continental Army in 1782 and served for the Light Infantry Company of the 4th Massachusetts Regiment. She is one of a very small number of women with a documented record of combat experience during the Revolution. She died in 1827 and is laid to rest in Rock Ridge Cemetery in Sharon.
The course is fast and flat – so be ready to run a PR! Portions are run on the trail, so there are possibilities of roots and rocks along portions of the course.
The race will start at 9:00AM.

Time to Run. Time to Walk. Time to Stand
When push comes to shove, you taste what you're made of.
You might bend 'til you break 'cause it's all you can take.
On your knee's you look up, decide you've had enough.
You get mad, you get strong. Wipe your hands, shake it off.
Then you Stand.

Refund Policy
No refunds. No refunds will be provided for race registrations for any reason, and especially in the event of a race cancellation due to circumstances outside of the Race Directors' control [e.g. fires; hurricanes; tornadoes; severe lightning storms; various other inclement weather and natural disasters, etc.]. When you sign your race waiver at the time of registration, you agree that you understand that registration fees may not be refunded. Since we look forward to this day all year, we certainly hope to never cancel our super awesome country-loving race, but we realize that sometimes cancellation is necessary for the safety of our runners and protection of the trails on which we run. If our race does need to be cancelled, we will do everything we can to apply the race fee (entire or partial) to one of our sister races.
