The Power of Your Donation
Donations are what helps MET to make great theatre! And, every donation matters. Here is what your donated (and tax-deductible!) dollars can do to help us create five MET-caliber productions this season:
One 40 dollar donation procures enough false glitter eyelashes for the entire tech week and run of MET’s The Legend of Georgia McBride, carousing MET’s Mainstage May 13 – June 12, 2022;
Two 50 dollar donations allow our special effects team to sculpt a “Perseid tummy” for Steve Martin’s Meteor Shower, descending to MET’s Mainstage March 25 – April 24, 2022;
Three 60 dollar donations are enough bread to buy an authentic vintage 8-track player for Detroit ’67, a sonorous piece powering onto MET’s Mainstage February 4 -6, 2022;
Four 70 dollar donations covers the eats up the entire edible holiday food budget for the run of No, Virginia – a Grown Up Holiday Farce, making merry MET’s Mainstage December 3 – 26, 2021; and
Five 80 dollar donations acquires enough bobbles, threads & materials to handcraft all of the period costumes for The Revolutionists that rises up to MET’s Mainstage September 17- October 17, 2021.
