Description
The first WHES Hero Fun Run and 5k will help raise funds to support Whittier Elementary School. Your participation/donations will directly impact the students at Whittier! The race will take place around the scenic Whittier Elementary in Frederick, MD.
- 8:30 AM - 1k fun run
- 9:000 AM - 5k run/walk
- There is a Virtual 5k option for those that can't participate in person!
Registration
- 1k Fun Run - $10 (includes Dog Tag)
- 5k run/walk - $30 online pre-registration (T-shirt is guaranteed when registered by September 30th)
- 5k run/walk day of the race registration - $40 (registration begins at 7:30 AM)
- Virtual 5k race - $25 (name on "Virtual Runners'" sign that will be visible on race day)

- Bounce House
- Face Painting
- Raffle Baskets
- Prizes awarded for top male/female in each age category
