Damariscotta Pumpkinfest and Regatta is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. Our mission is two fold: to showcase the transformative power of agriculture, and celebrate the vibrant community of shops, non-profits and people that make up Twin Villages of Damariscotta and Newcastle. The social, cultural and economic impact of the festival for our region can't be understated!
The event attracts people from around the world, but relies on individual donations to cover expenses. Most events are free to attend. For others, like the Tour de Gourd, we try to keep costs to a minimum. Any additional support you can offer is greatly appreciated.
