Description
The GVSU Homecoming 5K run/walk course is a flat, fast course that will show off the beauty of the Grand Valley Campus in the fall season. The course starts just outside of the Kelly Family Sports Center and heads out toward Laker Village before turning back north and entering the main part of campus. Runners will wind around the freshman living centers before heading to Kelly Family Sports Center.

Live / Late Registration
Day of registration on Saturday, October 6 is from 7:30-830 AM. Race is at 9 AM.

Thursday, October 4 at Striders, 4045 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, 4:00pm-7:00pm
Day of Registration/Packet Pick-Up Saturday, October 6 at Kelly Family Sports Center 7:30am-8:30am. Registration will close at 8:30am. Race at 9am.
Awards
-Top three overall finishers (male and female)
-Top three overall male and female masters
-Top male and female finishers in each of the age divisions (7 & under, 8-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+)
-All Kids Fun Run participants receive ribbons
Schedule and Event Details
The GVSU Homecoming 5K race begins at the Kelly Family Sports Center located just behind the Fieldhouse Arena on the Allendale Campus. There will be a raffle for a chance to win prizes. This event is for all ages so bring the family! We will have kids’ activities, complimentary child care provided by the GVSU Children's Enrichment Center while you run, and a Kids Fun Run at 10 a.m. taking place inside the Kelly Family Sports Center. Your bib number will get you complimentary breakfast post-race, included in your race registration, others can pay $10 at the door (please bring cash). Participants and spectators park in Lot H. Shower facilities will be available.
