Every Child Wakes Up 5k Run/Walk 2019

September is Safe Sleep Awareness month.  To honor our daughter, Haddie, who passed away June 2nd, 2015, we will be hosting a 5K on September 22rd, 2019 at 9:30 am.  This event will be held at Byron Township Recreation Center in Byron Center Michigan. 

All proceeds will go to our non-profit Haddie’s Calling-Every Child Wakes Up.  Haddie’s Calling is a non-profit organization that raises money to provide Safe Sleep sacks, cribs, pack-n-plays, and most importantly safe sleep education to families who need them to provide a safe sleep environment for their child.  This past year we sent Haddie’s Story out to every licensed daycare in Ottawa County, and we were able to donation sleep sacks to any daycare that needed them.  It is our mission that every child wakes up and that families do not experience this tragedy.

This race will be a timed event and is 90% paved.  Strollers are welcome and pets!  

There will be a Kid's Silly Sack Race 10:15-20ish! Sacks will be provided.
