Description
Wake up and Run!! Leave on your PJs and rock that crazy bedhead and join the Friends of Proud Lake for an early morning trail hike and run through Proud Lake Recreation Area. The course winds through a beautiful forest setting filled with diverse habitats.
After you finish the course, we invite you and your cheering fans to join us for a pancake breakfast (gluten-free option available).
Your registration proceeds will be used to fund the installation of two all inclusive playgrounds at Proud Lake Recreation Area.

Recreational Passport
PLEASE NOTE: Recreational Passports will be required for all vehicles entering Proud Lake Recreation Area. These can be purchased at the park on race day or go to http://www.michigan.gov/dnr for more information on other ways to purchase the passport. We highly recommend that you purchase your passport in advance to avoid any delays in getting into the park the morning of the race.
Passport Pricing:
Michigan Vehicles $11 at Secretary of State Non-Resident Vehicles $9 daily
$16 at the park $32 annual
Road Closure Near Park
PLEASE NOTE: MDOT will be repairing the bridge on Wixom Rd north of Proud Lake Recreation Area and will have the road closed at Wixom and Sleeth Rd. If you are coming from the north, we recommend planning your route ahead of time to follow the posted detour around the park to enter the from the south off of Wixom Rd.
