The Zaman Detroit Run Team is a driving force that helps to put on the Run Walk Picnic. The team is a 2024 Charity partner of the Detroit Free Press Marathon, happening on October 17-19, 2025. As part of their training for the full, half, and relay marathons, they are also fundraising for Zaman and its mission to assist women and children living in extreme poverty in Michigan.
