Runner's High 5k

All money raised will be donated directly to the Last Prisoner Project after offsetting the costs for hosting the event.

As part of our commitment to social justice and community engagement, this is a charity 5k fundraiser event to support the important and impactful work undertaken by Last Prisoner Project. This organization fights criminal injustice and reimagines drug policy. Its mission is simple: to free the tens of thousands of drug war prisoners, incarcerated for cannabis-related offenses, while thousands of other individuals are profiting off the cannabis industry. All money raised will be donated directly to the Last Prisoner Project after offsetting the costs for hosting the event. Through intervention, advocacy, and awareness campaigns, Last Prisoner Project works to redress the past and continuing harms of these unjust laws and policies. As the United States moves away from the criminalization of cannabis, and Michigan has legalized cannabis, we will donate all the money raised directly to Last Prisoner Project after offsetting the costs for hosting the event.
