Brain tumors remain the most common cause or cancer [related death in children, and Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) is the leading cause of death from pediatric brain tumors. Only four percent of cancer research funding is allocated toward childhood cancer and, of that only one percent is spent on DIPG research
