For nearly 30 years, Ottawa County has been growing a county park system that is becoming one of the finest in Michigan. Our parks benefit from an excellent staff, a dedicated millage, and a committed Friends group providing eager volunteers. The Parks Foundation is the missing piece: a way for citizens to become more involved, particularly in supporting special projects outside of the normal operating budget. The Parks Foundation adds a margin of excellence to our outdoor spaces and bridges the gap between the community and nature.
