Big Bay Pathway

Proceeds from the Big Bay Relay 2023 help support the Big Bay Pathway in Powell Township. In 2019 the Big Bay Pathway moved it's trail head into the heart of Big Bay, making the trail more accessible to the community for year round recreation. Along with the relocation, a connector trail was added directly to the Powell Township School. The students at Powell Township schools participate in many outdoor activities, including cross county skiing, thanks to a generous donation of skis for the students to use. Every year the kids join the Honey Bear in skiing the Honey Bear Classic as a warm up for their school ski race.

Community trails are an integral part to the success of the communities that we live in by providing safe, accessible recreation to all ages.
