Small Business Stimulus Run

The COVID-19 pandemic has been and continues to be detrimental to our small businesses and community.

Truth In Function: Joint Strength and Stability Center and the local Marinette/Menominee SRTT chapter want to invite you to get some exercise and donate to a good cause through the “Small Business Stimulus Run”.

With each registration fee, we will use 100% to buy gift cards from small, privately owned local businesses struggling during the pandemic.

You can also nominate your favorite local businesses and charities when registering.

Those who participate, will be entered in a raffle for the distance group registered, for a chance to win gift cards for local businesses.

This is a virtual run/walk event “Small Business Stimulus Run” as a way of supporting local businesses.

Group 1:          5K        $20

Group 2:           10K      $25

Group 3:           15K      $30

Group 4:          Child 10yrs and Under $10 for any distance

Any additional donations will be pooled.

The Small Business Stimulus Virtual Run/Walk is an opportunity for the community to participate in an event which all the proceeds benefit Marinette, Menominee and surrounding local small, private Businesses in the form of purchasing gift cards from the business. Our goal is to highlight them through social media and invest in them as they are a huge part in our community and growth.

Participants can register through June 12th 2020.

The event will take place over the weekend of June 12-14th, ending at 5pm on Sunday the 14th.  The event run can be done outside or on a treadmill.

An honor system will be used. Garmin, Strava or similar can be used to share your stats. Take a picture and share your community support.  Please be safe, respectable and practice social distancing.

Once you finish, send us your results (906-241-6645) and we will put your name in the basket of the distance run you signed up for and completed.

Additionally, any business that has been running normal, we would greatly appreciate additional donations for this event.
