This race is in honor and memory of our sweet friend Alice, who passed away suddenly in March just 6 days shy of her 8th birthday of complications from a genetic disorder she had called GNAO1. This is a very rare disease. Alice had a heart of gold and made everyone she met love a little harder. Before her passing her elementary school student council @ Bryant had begun a fundraiser for new playground equipment so ANY child could play. Alice was wheelchair bound, but LOVED being outside with her friends. This race will help raise funds for Owosso Public Schools Bryant Elementary in building an accessible playground all students can enjoy for years to come. We are so thankful to everyone for all the love and support for this project this far and we hope with this race we will help make this a reality.

Free entry is valid until 9/22 then it's a $30 discount off the entry fee with a $100 donation for the 5k and a $20 discount off the entry fee for the 1 mile fun run.
