On May 11, 2014, 2014 Swan Valley High school Graduate Alex Dils was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. After a mass approximately 12cm x 18cm in size was found in his chest, restricting the airway to his lungs, Alex was rushed to the University of Michigan Medical Center. It was at this time that doctors administered the first stages of Larson Protocol, a multiple-phase chemotherapy treatment that will last three years.
While the prognosis is a good one, the journey will undoubtedly be long. We hope to see friends from near and far come together to rally for a young man who has inspired us all.
