Description
Join us for the Future Fest 5k run/walk and kids run on Saturday, July 18th at Roberts Park. This is a family fun event!
Medals and t-shirts will be awarded to ALL RUNNERS AND WALKERS
Awards for the 5k run to the top 3 male and female runners in each age group: 10 and under - 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up.
Family pricing available: Register 3 or more people at the same time and save $3 per person

Packet pickup and race day registration will begin on race day morning starting at 6:45 am
The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and online.
5k Run/Walk Route
The race will begin at Roberts Park at the Bingo Tent. Following the trail South through the woods turning west at the big Oak tree. The route will cross Miller Road and run along O’Hern Rd. until the Thomas Trail. From there, runners will head south along the Thomas Trail crossing the rail road tracks until they reach the turn around point. Trail will be marked. Runners will then run North along the Thomas Trail along the same route back to Roberts park ending at the Bingo Tent.

Kids Fun Run Routes
Kids will have the option to run a 1/4 mile or 1/2 mi course. It will up to the kids how far they want to run. Parents who wish to go alongside their children may feel free to do so. We will have volunteer staff along the course helping direct the kids along the course. There will also be signs pointing the runners where to go.

Donate $50 and you'll receive a FREE entry! Donate $25 and you'll receive $5 off your entry fee.
Steps how to receive a free entry:
1. Choose Sign Up and follow the steps to register for the race
2. You will be routed to the Donation page during registration, choose the $50 donation level
3. Your discount (free entry) will be reflected in the cart during checkout.
* Free entry is valid until June 28th, then it's a $25 discount off your entry fee with a $50 donation. 5K entry fee will be $5. Valid for the 5K run and 5k walk only.
* Please note if you go to the donation page first and enter the donation the discount will not be applied for a free entry. You must register by choosing Sign Up first.
