Uncle John's Cider Series

The Playmakers Fitness Foundation (PFF) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization committed to the wellness of the Mid-Michigan community. We work to empower people to adopt and sustain a healthier, more active lifestyle by providing:

     ** OPPORTUNITIES for people to move more
     ** EDUCATIONAL programs that train people to move better
 

Through education and opportunity, we will improve the health of our community!

All donations from the Uncle John's Cider Fest will go directly to support the free Team Playmakers Kids Running program at the Boys & Girls Club of Lansing.  A collaboration among the Boys and Girls Club, the Playmakers Fitness Foundation and the Michigan Running Foundation, this running club is a volunteer-based program that meets with kids ages 7-12 twice per week.  Donations will help fund running shoes, race entry fees and mileage incentives that motivate and excite the kids to keep running!

This program provides mentorship and guidance to kids as they learn a lifelong habit of running fitness.  Volunteer coaches log hundreds of hours to support each six-week session.  100% of the money donated to the program benefits the participating kids.  For more information about Team Playmakers Kids Running Club at the Boys & Girls Club of Lansing, please contact Program Coordinator, Ann Crane atanncrane98@aol.com.
