Many K9 officers go on duty without the proper equipment necessary for their safety. Unfortunately, in the past three years the Law Enforcement Community has lost over 30 K9 officers due to gunfire / Stabbing assaults that could have been avoided by having the proper safety equipment.
The PLEA (Professional Law Enforcement Association) Foundation Inc. was founded in November 2014 by Leslie McMahon.
We are a 501c3 volunteer-based non-profit organization based in Rochester, MI.
Our mission is to provide support with training costs and much needed equipment through donations and fundraising to law enforcement K9 officers in need. Since August of 2016, we have provided over 160 equipment donations to K9 Officers in over 27 states.
Our vision is striving to become a national leader in supporting Law Enforcement Professionals.
