The 2024 Forge Turkey Trot proceeds are being donated to a local organization, Timber Bay. Through a blending of large group times, small group activities, service projects, one-on-one mentoring, retreats and camping, Timber Bay gives our youth many opportunities to connect with positive adults in a supportive, encouraging atmosphere. There are many teens in our area who need healthy connections with safe adults who truly care about them. We all want to see teens thrive; to see them grow. Growth doesn’t happen in an instant. This means that we must invest our time and energy in our youth now while they are making choices that may impact their future. We all benefit from having mentors walk alongside us. If you’re a healthy, successful adult it’s probably because someone saw something in you and cared enough to share their life, knowledge, and experience. We are excited to raise funds and support the Timber Bay program, and make a difference in the lives of teens living in our community.
