Come Join KC Parks, The City of Kansas City, & The Team WallStreet Foundation as we honor Michael Wheeler, our "KC SUPERMAN" for his final PEACE RUN.

Kansas City Superman's Farewell to the Cape Family Fun Run/Walk is in honor of Kansas City native Michael Wheeler. Wheeler is an International marathon runner who used running through the streets of Kansas City to help heal, minister, and pray for the city of Kansas City.

Join us as we help Mr. Wheeler say farewell to his Superman Cape. Mr. Wheeler has been an advocate of stop the violence and praying for peace for not only Kansas City but also our Nation and for 'World Peace'.

Starting Point: National WWI Museum and Memorial, lawn east of Mall

End Point: KC SUPERMAN MURAL 42nd St. & Broadway

Common Questions:

1. Is there a deadline to register? There is not a deadline to register, however there is a deadline to receive commemorative shirt on race day. (The registration deadline to receive a commemorative shirt on race day is Monday, March 4th. If you register after the deadline, you will receive your race shirt by mail.) * Please note an additional shipping fee will be included in registration

2. Will The Race End at a different location than the starting point? Yes The Race Ends at 42nd & Broadway
   

3. Do I have to wear a Superhero costume? No you do not have to wear a costume (But if you do, Make it FUN!!!!)

4. Is this a timed run? No, the race is not timed. This is a run "Just for Fun"

5. When is T-Shirt Pickup? T-Shirt Pickup is Raceday Morning between 7:30am - 8:30am 

6. I don't live in Kansas City and can't make the event can I still get a commemorative shirt? Yes, sign up and we will mail you your shirt. *Please note an additional shipping fee will be included in registration
