The Storm Stomp 5K has been cancelled!
Due to the limitations put on public gathering by the City of Kansas City in response to the COVID - 19 virus outbreak, we have had to cancel the inaugural Storm Stomp 5K. We will be contacting registrants as to our plans in conjunction with the cancellations.

Description
Join us for the Storm Stomp 5K and Carnival Fun Run on April 18, 2020! Run, Walk or Cheer at the first ever 5K and Carnival Fun Run. Help the student committee bring back the nostalgia of the Sion Carnival as you participate in the festivities. The ladies on the committee are working hard to plan this community wide event and we would love to see you there. As a supporter of Storm Stomp the proceeds from this event will help to raise money for scholarships to attend Notre Dame de Sion. We hope you know the impact you are having as Sion graduates go into the world. The ripple effect is insurmountable and we want you to be part of Storm Stomp!
Get your friends together to run, walk, or cheer and then head to breakfast at a nearby restaurant! We would love to have you support the high school students as they plan Sion's first ever 5K and Carnival Fun Run.

Awards
The 5K awards are the Fastest Male and Fastest Female. This is a chip timed 5K
The Carnival Fun Run for ages 4-12 Years of age awards fastest male and fastest female in the following age groups: 4-5 years old, 6-8 years old, 9-12 years old. This is NOT a chip timed race.
The Carnival Fun Run for Sion Students awards are fastest female in the following grades: Freshman, Sophomore, Juniors and Senior. Top overall student will also receive an award
Finisher Medals / Ribbons
5K finishers will receive a finisher medal
The Carnival Fun Run for ages 4-12 will receive a finisher ribbon
The Carnival Fun Run for Sion Students will receive finisher ribbons in Student Color.
Post race pancake feed
Stick around after the race for some delicious pancakes from Two Guys and a Grill!
