Blake Mounce, son of Johnny and Pat Mounce, lost is life defending our country while serving in the U.S. Marines overseas. In honor of our hometown hero, the Town of Ecru named their public park after Blake. This park serves as a meeting point for many city and county citizens to come and enjoy sporting events and fellowship. It is the Hope of The Town of Ecru, that by hosting the 8th Annual Blake Mounce Memorial Run, that the town will receive enough donations to continue the improvements to the park.
Blake gave his life for this country. With the necessary funds, the Town of Ecru hopes to honor that sacrifice while providing a beautiful and safe place that everyone can enjoy!
