Adrienne's House is the secondary domestic violence shelter of the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence. The shelter was named in memory of Adrienne Klasky, a lifelong resident of Pascagoula who was killed by her ex-husband in 1989
This shelter program was opened in October of 2011 to provide safe space and essential services individuals and families in the Jackson and George County communities who are escaping violent homes.
Programs offered include 24 hour per day 7 days per week temporary emergency shelter; individual counseling for adults and children; group counseling for residential and nonresidential clients; case management; legal/court advocacy; civil legal services legal clinic.
