The St. Paul’s Carnival Association (SPCA) has been serving the Pass Christian community since 1930. Founded as a way to raise funds for St. Joseph School and the Sisters of Mercy who taught there, the organization has continued its philanthropic mission for nearly a century. Over the years, its efforts have supported the newly established St. Paul Catholic School and now proudly benefit St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School.
SPCA is known for bringing the community together through cherished traditions and events, including delicious food, lively entertainment, drawdowns, golf tournaments, and of course the Pass Parade—the biggest and best Mardi Gras parade on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, drawing tens of thousands of revelers each year.
Through hurricanes, historical events, and decades of change, the St. Paul’s Carnival Association has remained a lasting symbol of community spirit, faith, and generosity in Pass Christian.
