The York 38 Special is more than a great ride - it is the major fundraiser for York Fire Rescue. Your registrations and donations go to help us fund our department and procure essential equipment.

We intend to use this year’s proceeds to equip three new emergency medical responders (EMRs). Each of them needs a medical kit, O2 bag, and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), costing approximately $5,000. Additionally, we need to upgrade handheld radios for each of our EMRs, at nearly $8,000 per person.

YFR Inc is a 501c3 organization. Your donation may be tax deductible. York Fire Rescue is a rural, all-volunteer fire department providing emergency and fire service to the communities of York, Eldorado, Nelson, and American Bar. York Fire Rescue has a small tax base and serves a 200 square mile area - 20 miles NE of Helena within the Helena National Forest.
