Take heart, take part! Join Alpha Phi in their first ever "Move Your Phi't!" 5k run to benefit the Alpha Phi Foundation and the International Heart Institute of Montana, as well as raise awareness for women's heart health. Check in is between 8:15am and 8:45am, race starts 9:00am!
-The Alpha Phi Foundation's 5 vital programs are: Supporting programs that help women grow in leadership, providing scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students, supporting research and education essential for promoting heart health, helping sisters in need with Forget Me Not assistance grants, and preserving more than a century’s worth of milestones in women’s history through our heritage program.
-The International Heart Institute of Montana (IHI) brings together a recognized team of cardiologists, heart surgeons, nurses and researchers to perform advanced cardiac procedures and to search for new and improved ways to treat heart disease. Founded in 1995, IHI involves physicians and staff of St. Patrick Hospital and The University of Montana. IHI has clinics located throughout Western Montana, including Missoula, Hamilton, and Butte. IHI physicians travel to other communities to help maintain heart health across our region.
