Mountain Strong-8 Hour Ultra

The small communities of North Carolina were decimated on September 27-28th of 2024. On the one year anniversary we plan on getting crowds together to run an 8 hour race to benefit the parks and recreation areas of Mitchell County. The course that we will be running will be in the middle of one of the hardest hit mountain trails. The amount of trees that came down on the trail is just mind boggling, but we will clear a path for this race so that you can literally run through the destruction. Bring your crew and set up for an eight hour run. Whether you walk, jog or run, be prepared to be "blown away" by both the majesty and destruction around you. Basic nutrition and hydration will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your favorites and set up your own station in the parking lot.
