LBD 5K Cancelled
Out of an abundance of caution and after careful consideration, we have decided to cancel the 4th annual LBD 5K: Lace Up to Bring Lewy Down. While we are disappointed we won't be able to hold the race this year, we feel this is the best decision for the health and safety of our volunteers, participants, and spectators. If you have the means to continue to support the Lewy Body Dementia Association, Inc. and all the work they do, we encourage you to donate to their website directly: https://www.lbda.org/donate. Description
Join us as we lace up our running and walking shoes to bring Lewy Body Dementia (LBD) down. LBD is the second most common form of degenerative dementia, affecting more than 1.4 million individuals in the United States. Despite this, many people have never heard of the disease. This race aims to raise awareness of LBD and funds for Lewy Body Dementia Association, Inc., which provides resources and support to those affected by LBD and promotes research into this devastating disease.

Registration Fees/Dates/Categories:
$25 Early Registration for the 5k until May 14, 2020
$30 Registration for the 5k from May 15, 2020 until day of the race
$10 Registration for the Kids' Dash
Those who register for the 5k by May 18, 2020 are guaranteed a free T-shirt.
Awards/Categories:
Awards for top three male and top three female finishers.

WakeMed Soccer Park's cross country course is a popular location for competitive high school cross country meets, as well as other cause runs and competitions.
