Kappa Epsilon Pharmacy Fraternity is a professional organization at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy dedicated to supporting the professional development of students in pharmacy while giving back to the community through patient education and service initiatives. Our organization along with UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Student Senate are hosting a 4k walk/run on March 14, 2020 to support the Caring Community Foundation. The Caring Community Foundation is a local charitable organization that financially supports cancer patients and their families in the Triangle area by providing assistance with rent, utilities, treatment or other expenses that become difficult to manage during cancer treatment. This is an event that we host annually and all of the profits are donated to this organization. With your help, we are hoping to raise even more money for the Caring Community Foundation to aid their effort in providing financial support to local patients during a difficult time.
The 4k is an event that is attended by both UNC students as well as members of the community. Various businesses throughout the area provide donations such as gift cards to be raffled off during the event. Local companies are also able to provide sponsorship for the event in the form of a monetary donation. In return, businesses who donate will be featured on the back of the event T-shirt.
Prizes: For top 3 male and female winners
First place: $40 gift card .
Second place: $20 gift card.
Third place: $20 gift card.
CHILDREN RUN FREE!
T-SHIRTS AVAILABLE ONLY WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. Registration by February 28 will be guaranteed the free T-shirt.
