Additional Race Information & Rules
Egg Collection Guidelines-
Eggs will be hidden along the course in designated mile sections. Each mile will feature a different egg color. Participants may collect ONE egg per color only (maximum of three total). Please do not open eggs on the course. Open them after finishing the race.
Golden or specialty prize eggs must be redeemed at the awards table after the race.
Our goal is to keep the event fair and fun for everyone. Please practice good sportsmanship.
Safety First
This is a fun run, but runners and walkers must remain aware of their surroundings at all times. Do not stop abruptly in the middle of the course to grab an egg. Move safely to the side if needed. Be respectful of other participants. No pushing, blocking, or aggressive behavior. Children participating in the 5K should be supervised appropriately.
Race officials and volunteers reserve the right to disqualify anyone not following course or egg rules.
Timing & Results
This is a fun run event. Official timing equipment will not be provided; the focus of this event is participation and community support. There will be a running clock and race bibs to capture time and place as you finish.
Weather Policy
The event will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, updates will be posted on the race page and social media.
Refund Policy
As this is a fundraiser for the Cherokee High School Junior Class Prom, registration fees are non-refundable.
