For over four decades, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. have proudly partnered with the March of Dimes March for Babies to champion the health of all mothers and babies.
Why it Matters:
Every year, nearly half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely or with birth defects. These babies face significantly increased risks of death, disability, and lifelong health challenges. Your support fuels critical research, programs, education, and advocacy efforts. These initiatives aim to improve pregnancy outcomes, reduce infant mortality, and ensure every baby has the best possible start in life.
Our Goal:
This year, we aim to raise $20,000 to directly support the March of Dimes' vital work.

A Legacy of Impact:
For the past four years, we have proudly supported the health and well-being of mothers and babies in our community through this event. To date, we have raised over $45,000, generously donated to the March of Dimes March for Babies and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
A Call to Action:
Despite our progress, the United States remains alarmingly behind in maternal and infant health. Premature birth and related complications continue to impact families across the country. We believe that every mother and baby deserve access to quality healthcare and a healthy start in life.

This year, we aim to raise $20,000. Your generous contributions will be split equally between the March of Dimes and the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center NICU, directly impacting vital programs and services.
