The Chip Seaver Memorial Fund was established by Chip’s sister Scottie, and other donors to honor
Chip’s respected career in the fire service. Proceeds from the race go to the Chip Seaver Memorial
Fund at Guilford Technical Community College. Chip’s memorial funds directly impact GTCC’s fire
training program. GTCC’s fire training programs help to ensure current and future firefighters receive
the knowledge and skills they need to serve their communities at the highest levels.
