TMF strives to unite and strengthen communities by training, developing, and highlighting the role models that lead them. We develop programs, training opportunities, and events designed to empower veterans and families of the fallen, and then inspire them to pass on their values to the next generation and the community at large.
This summer the Holly Springs Police Department partnered with the local Travis Manion Foundation chapter, Holly Springs Parks & Recreation Department, and mentors from our community, to offer a 10-week Character Does Matter program to kids involved with our town’s youth summer camps. The Character Does Matter (CDM) program provides mentorship for youth and gives a renewed sense of purpose and camaraderie to veterans, public safety professionals, and the families of fallen heroes.
