This is the10th Annual running of the Angels '97 5k. All proceeds from this event goes to provide scholarships to assist with higher education to local area high school seniors at Hopewell, North Meck & Hough High as we honor the lives of the students who graduated in spirit only. Race day at North Mecklenburg High School, 7:00 a.m. until 8:30 am sharp!
Awards
Top three male and female overall win cash prize;
$100 1st place
$50 2nd Place
$25 3rd place finish.
*organization assumes no responsibility for NCAA violation of potential athletes. Top three male and female in each age group will be awarded.
Age groups:
14 and under,
15-19,
20-24,
25-29,
30-34,
35-39,
40-44,
45-49,
50-54,
55-59,
60 and over.
Awards ceremony immediately following at finish line area. Those awards not picked up will be available at North Mecklenburg High School Cafeteria for remainder of day.
