The Great Boos & Brews 5K

This is the second year for the Boos and Brews 5K in Downtown Marion. This race is hosted by the McDowell Race Series. This is the third race of the series for 2019.

Downtown Marion has grown and changed in the past few years.  We now have a new vibe of hopping restaurants, shops, sweet treats, taprooms, and breweries. We invite you to come dressed in your best Halloween attire and join us for the second annual Boos & Brews 5K held on October 19, 2019 then stay and enjoy some of the new up and coming locations Marion now has to offer. The Boos & Brews 5K will take off from Main Street. Participants will run/walk through downtown Marion, looping around the graveyard, and make their final stretch back up Main Street. Awards for overall winners and age groups will be held at the Main Street stage following the race. Participants may then join us at Refinery 13 for an after party. All participants will receive a finisher medal and super soft shirt. Those 21 and older will also receive beverage of choice at Refinery 13 Taproom. 

Costume Contest will be after race.

Age Groups: 3-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

The top three male and female overall winners will receive a trophy.  The top 3 male and female in each group will receive an additional award.

Under 21: Boos & Brews 5K: Cost $25 (includes finisher medal, and shirt) Kid Friendly 

Packet Pick Up

Friday 5-7pm at ERA Mtn View Properies on Main Street Marion,NC  OR

Saturday 3-4:30 at the Main Street Stage 

Race Begins at 5pm.
